My photos in premiere rush are appearing as a black screen

I have my photos on OneDrive that I took on my iPad, when I try to add them onto my project, it appears as just a black photo with nothing in it. Is there anyway to fix this?

    I just figured out my problem, my files I was using were heic files.

    Hi @jensen_9444,

    What happens if you move them off OneDrive and import them to Rush? I hope that works.
