perpare for playback crashed video player

I was trying to color grade some video I captured with my drone and wanted to lower the playback resoloution because the video would skip durring playback. I decided to see what perpare for playback did and it came up with and error saying that the hvec codec needed a subscprtion to use and it just made the video playback a balck screen.

Update it corrupted the file so now i have to remake the project

Hi @BECK250818435bkq,

You might try transcoding the HEVC footage to ProRes LT in Shutter Encoder for the best results. H.264 would also work. If you are on the Starter Version, HEVC is not supported. Sorry about that. I wish you luck on the redo. Sorry for the problems.
