premier rush on ipad is distorting videos when sped up

Has anyone been having recent problems with rush distorting videos? This week the app has consistently been pixelating and distorting imported videos once the have been split or sped up.

Any feedback on how to prevent this would be helpful as I am unable to export media without distortions.

The only thing that has changed on my end is  a new iphone 15 which is the source of my videos, shot in 4k. They do import fine and only distort once trimmed or sped up.
