Premier Rush uncompatible with all formats on iPhone 16

I recorded various videos to develop after in rush as I used to do ever since. But now from an iPhone 16 with pretty much factory settings still. Nothing too crazy or pushing the camera or format abilities.. And kept getting an Uncompatible format message over and over again. I went online and found many of this problems are related to the format or how is recorded. Therefore I procedure to record a video in every single way and format that this device allows me to. However none were compatible with the app at the end.

Digging further online I found some posts bringing up solutions, suggesting to convert your files before importing and so. But personally I think the subscription we pay is high enough to have to go through such trouble before being even able to edit/postproduce our footage..

hopefully a solution is soon to come.

No, Violet should be good to go. You can also disable "Spatial Audio" in camera settings and Rush should work fine.

Cheers,
Kevin

Diasbling "Spatial Audio" did it for me! I am so relieved that I now do not have to convert my videos in another app beforehand.

I just upgraded my phone and this issue is absolutely mind boggling.

Which format are you shooting, @Anthony30054851a7ac? "Most Compatible Mode" may have changed with the new device. Show us a screenshot of your Camera Settings, please. If you are shooting ProRes RAW, it isn't supported. I hope I can help you troubleshoot.

FYI: check out Project Violet, a new iOS mobile video editing app Adobe Research is working on. Sorry for the frustration, hope we can assist.

Cheers,
Kevin

I had to return the new iPhone until you guys fix this issue. I shoot in 1080p/60fps. The same format I was shooting in with my iPhone 14 Pro Max (and am doing so again now because iPhone 16 is not compatible for some reason with your program).

If you look at other threads, all video formats are not importing properly if you're using an iPhone 16, so please fix this!

Hi @nahscript,

Check the Camera settings and try "Most Compatible" mode. Works? Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Are you shooting ProRes RAW and HDR? Sorry, that isn't supported. Try plain vanilla H.264 no HDR.

I'm having the same issues! We pay for this service on the app but can't even use it. If the issues don't get resolve quick I'm going to cancel my subscription!
