Question

Premiere Rush: First time running it.

It wants to download every file off my cloud in my userspace.  How do I tell Rush not to do that?  I only want to to know about files I tell it to from conventional load methods.

Also, I tried to load a 14MB file from a Pixel 6 (stored on local i/o) and it got stuck on 0%.

Using Win11, 5900hx/3080/32gb ram.

P.S., the knowledge base article for Rush's "known issues" gives a 404, linked from it's own search engine.

Hi there!

You can turn off the sync. Here's how: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-rush/help/project-syncing-premiere-rush.html

Currently, Pixel 6 is not on the supported list. This could create performance issues.

Let us know if that article helps.

Thanks,

Kartika

Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately, disabling "sync to cloud" didn't change the behavior.  I don't believe that's what it's doing.  I believe it's trying to cache thumbnails for files on the cloud (mind you it's the OS's cloud, not creative cloud).  Downloading 40,000 original quality photos is not ideal to use 1; especially when the OS already provides thumbnails.  I noticed it also downloads any file type; not just images.
