Premiere rush keeps crashing

Hi!

I was so happy to be able to work on my iPad and edit simple footage for posting, but the app just keeps crashing. I can't edit for more than a couple of seconds, I let all the files to render, I can't even export...

I checked and have enough storage space, have no corrupted files and am just... kind of bummed.

I've read that due to updates this has been happening to other people, but it would be great to have it fixed.

can anyone help please?

thank you

I'm also having an issue with Rush crashing on my iPad Mini 6th gen almost immediately upon opening. The fathest I've been able to get is finding files to import into a project before it crashes. I just downloaded the app, so it's definitely the current version.

We'll report this to our engineering team!

Catfig – For export issues, you can have some luck by untwirling the "Advanced Settings" menu and changing the export preset from "Automatic" to one of the specific options.

CPointe – I wonder if it has to do with where you're importing files from? Are you just using something directly from your camera roll on your iPad?

Hi again Caroline,

would love to access the advance settings on the iPad but I can't find them anywhere.

thanks

Hi Catfig!

How do you record your clips? Does it happen with all projects? Have you checked your iPad for updates? Have you tried turning Cloud Sync off on your project before you start?

Happy to look into this!

Hi Caroline,

thanks for getting back! I record the clips externally using a Panasonic lumix g80 and have been able to use them on iMovie for example. So I wouldn't think that is why this is happening?

I also turned off the sync.

I tried it both ways... and I also uninstalled and installed the app again and checked my updates.

I could work for a bit again without problem after installing it again and was super glad , but then the final file which by now it's smaller than last time...won't export.

I did everything from scratch, so there has to be something with the software.

anything I can do?

thanks again!
