Question

Previously included features suddenly premium features

When I learned that previously given free capabilities in Adobe Premiere Rush are now being offered as premium features, I was incredibly disappointed and outraged. This is a blatant cash grab by the business and a breach of its clients' trust. It is improper for a business to modify the conditions of a product without adequate notification or communication. I implore Adobe to rethink this choice and to keep charging its clients fairly and openly. I don't have a problem with making features premium for all new projects after a certain date, but to enforce them in existing projects are just infuriating.
Many of us have invested countless hours in creating content that is now useless unless we subscribe to Premiere Pro for an additional $29.99/month, on top of my current A$14.29/month Photography subscription.

I can't use the Cut feature, or even save my video without a pop up telling me I need to purchase. I have the Photography Plan and I'm signed in. Even if I didn't use any "Premium features", the whole thing is useless if I can't save my project.

Hi,

The photography plan doesn't include a Rush Premium subscription. Sorry. As for your other issue, there is no "save" feature. It automatically saves. Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Kevin

When I said "Save" I was talking about Downloading and Sharing. Sorry I used the wrong terminology. It's fine though. I will use Davinci Resolve or Capcut. I'm disappointed that Adobe removed features I was using from my plan. My plan costs the same as the Adobe Express plan that includes Premiere Rush, so it makes no sense to me why Adobe did this other than maybe they just think they have too many customers and they want those customers to use something else.

Wish granted.

I just opened RUSH on a new system and now I too have to pay to get full functionality.  This never used to be the case and was included as part of my Creative Cloud Photography plan.  This is very upsetting to me.  They just lost a potential customer for Premiere Pro.

Somehow it has only been recently that I noticed I cannot export in 4k.

Definitely I had never been shown an upgrade button on the exports page of RUSH.

Adobe is the worst.

Their exploitation of artists is gross.

From one user to another, which features are being switched and where did you hear about a change? Here's the difference I found between the free and paid plans (https://www.adobe.com/products/premiere-rush.html)

I believe the syncing between phone and desktop was free, at least as far as I can remember. I finally set up the whole system (needed a new computer to use Rush on the desktop) and I also suddenly run into the fact that I have to pay for Adobe Express on top of the Photoshop subscription.
