Problem importing to premier rush from Sony fix-30

I'm about to go backpacking with my fx-30 and don't want to take a laptop. So I want to be able to edit my videos in my iPad Pro to post online. The problem is that Sony used the XAVC-S format and Adobe rush on both my phone and iPad say it's unsupported. When I go to the compatibility list Adobe said it does support it. What are some options? I hate to think I have to convert all the videos just do do a few small edits.
