Project import of images is FILL to frame.

Imported Images are FILL to frame as default. Is there a way to import images to FIT the frame? I have over 800 images that need to be FIT to frame in a project. It seems that this can only be done manually for each individual image.

Assuming you can't select multiple photos and change the trasform to FIT, is there a way that photos use FIT by default instead of FILL?

Hi @ralph.arvesen and @mikem34401937,

This feature has been developed on Premiere Pro and can't be found in Rush. Sorry.

You might be able to create a batch action in Photoshop (or some image editor) to resize the images to a frame size matching Rush's sequence settings. Then, run the action on the photos before importing them to Rush.

I hope the advice helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

To verify, is the answer that you can't, and you need to select 800 photos one at a time and set them to FIT?

To clarify, importing photos in Rush, by default, is Fill to frame which
crops out import parts of the frame of a photograph. Post import, one then
has to manually select each image at a time and change image to Fit. Please
either give the user the option to import Fill OR Fit. Or, the ability to
select multiple images after import and change the set of images to Fit.
My specific project imports all landscape images (About800) incorrectly as
Fill with no options but correct each to Fit individually.
