Render and Playback issues - Error Code -1609629695

I've not been able to use animated titles in my timeline - the clips/stills will preview fine, but the screen goes black as soon as it hits the title in the timeline. This was confirmed when I tried to render; the error occurs right when the title should appear in the video. The rendering effect is AE.ADBE Text in the screenshot below.

 

I've uninstalled/reinstalled; tried using previous version; logged out/into Creative Cloud; and reset preferences. Nothing is working.

 

Dell Precision 7550, less than a year old. No issues in other graphics programs.

Processor    Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10885H CPU @ 2.40GHz   2.40 GHz
Installed RAM    64.0 GB

Graphics card Nvidia Quadro 3000
