I’ve been a loyal Adobe user for over 20 years, relying on your products for both professional and personal projects. While Adobe has always been an industry leader in video editing, I find myself increasingly frustrated by the lack of fundamental features in Premiere Rush—especially when compared to newer, more agile competitors like CapCut.

For example, something as simple as reversing a clip is unavailable in Premiere Rush, despite being a basic feature in many other mobile editing apps. Additionally, text-based transcript editing, which is already present in Premiere Pro, would be a game-changer if integrated into Rush for mobile users. These are not just “nice-to-have” features; they are now industry standards that significantly improve the editing workflow.

With CapCut no longer available for download, many users—including myself—are looking for an alternative, and Adobe has the perfect opportunity to step in. However, the lack of innovation in Rush makes it difficult to rely on for mobile editing. I strongly encourage your research and development team to explore what other apps on the market are offering and take action to keep Adobe at the forefront of mobile video editing.

Adobe has the resources and expertise to lead in this space, but it often feels like you’re playing catch-up rather than setting the standard. I truly hope to see meaningful improvements in Premiere Rush that reflect the needs of modern content creators.
