Rush 2.3 playback stops working

Hey!

I just updated to Adobe Rush 2.3 from 1.5, where I saw that the program is now free - Great!! 😄
However, as soon as I started using the new version I encountered some issues - After opening a project (new or old) and starting to do changes to the material in it, the playback suddenly stopped working. When trying to back to "home" and the interface of the other projects, the program freezes and I need to restart. 

I have tried restarting both the program and the computer, but the same problem remains... Any clues?
