Rush Crashing on Start Up

Today the app keeps crashing. First time I've had this issue.

First, I would open the app, open a project, delete a video clip from the timeline, and then it would crash. Then it would crash right when opening a project. Now the app is crashing immediately after opening the app, before I even open a project. 

Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2017)

mac OS catalina 10.15.4

16 gb memory 

40 gb free hard drive space 

edit: Rush verion 1.15.12 (most recent)

I have restarted the computer. Uninstalled Rush then reinstalled. I was able to start a new project, but then it crashed. Now I cannot work in that project either because it crashes. 

EDIT: I went back to previous version to finish my project for now. Works fine. Issue seems to be with the update.
