Rush Desktop Hangs Importing Media

Trying to use Rush for a new project. I create the project, but when I try to import any media it just hangs (spinning icon, not responding). I've tried it with my own mp4 files, sample files from Adobe, and even just a simple jpg - it hangs every time.

I have to say, using this new software is not off to a good start.
