Rush Exported Video Stutters

Hi,

I've been creating 1080p videos on mobile in Rush and exporting, but my latest video, on export, has stuttering lagging video for the last 5 minutes. Haven't encountered this issue before.

Videos are simple single source (GoPro 9 @1080p 25fps) edits with two tracks max video, a couple of basic titles, and music. Latest video is 20:26 duration, stuttering consistently starts around 15min. No issues with playback in the editor

O/S is Android 11

Samsung Galaxy S20FE SM-G780G/DS

With 500GB MicroSD expansion

Previous longest video was 14:44

Is it just a performance limit on my hardware and/or app?

Thanks!

Andrew

I have just been told my videos on YouTube freeze and stutter around the 15 minute mark. My phone is an S23+.

Really loved this app but no idea what is happening. Please help Adobe, I can't afford to pay for a faulty app.

after my experience, i went to leave a review for Rush and discovered i left a 1-star in 2021 for the same stuttering issue. rlol. i've uninstalled Rush.

i tried several recommended mobile editors provided in this r/VideoEditing FAQ. i tried KineMaster, Split, and VN Video editor. all three produced perfect exports, and are easy to use. i'm going with stick with Split (made by KineMaster) for now since it's free with ads. if it continues to work well, I'll purchase a subscription to ensure it stays supported. or get KineMaster Premium (to ensure i have a full feature set just in case).

fyi, i used PowerDirector for several years but it doesn't have a proper cross-dissolve transition. they have a pooly-implemented fade transition that shows a paused scene b in the middle of the transition. quite bizarre. having found these very good alternatives, i've uninstalled PD.

fwiw, i also tried filmora. the edit was easy enough but it wouldn't export; it sat at 0% for a long time and seemed hung. uninstalled.

today was my first use of rush on samsung galaxy tab s8+. the 1080p/30 export starts smoothly but is clearly stuttery within a few minutes. and by 20 mins in, it's just freezing and jumping though the audio plays perfectly.

I just encountered the same stuttering video problem at the 15 minute point of a 20 minute video using a Samsung S23 Ultra exporting at 4K and matched framerate.  The audio remains good but the video is horrible to watch from 15 minutes until the end. Please fix this!

I'm having the same issue on the desktop app. The video is 1.21min 1080 in 25fps

I am having similar issues. Just started using it and in app all is good. After export it s very jittery and unusable from the beginning to the end. I am only exporting a 1 minute clip in both 1080 and 720. I sent a clip in to Adobe support

Hi Andrew!

Sorry to hear that. Does it happen with specific files? Could you try duplicating the project and render where the stuttering starts for testing purposes?

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Kartika

Hi,

I've tested it with other projects and different clips and it consistently
kicks in at 15 minutes so possibly it's a hardware issue with the phone?
