Question

Rush keeps crashing - Processor not compatible?

Hey there!

I have a new laptop since a few days and reinstalled all my apps. Everything good except for Premiere Rush. I tried everything and in the end I contacted support. One of the guys there said my processor is not compatible and they're working on it and maybe with the next update everything will be fine. My computer's specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 185H 2.30 GHz / Windows 11 / 64 GB RAM. I thought everything will work smoothly but apparently Adobe Rush is not good with Ultra processors. Weird. Just wanted to ask, any idea when this will work? Should I simply cancel this one and get Premiere Pro instead? Is it going to be like days or more like months or years? If someone could help, that would be wonderful. Cheers!

Hello @sensmanson,

Welcome to the forum. Yes, it is true that these CPUs are not yet supported. They are working in Premiere Pro, however. I would go with the latter. I hope the information helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

The problem is... Rush is simple to use and Pro will require quite a learning curve for some folks. How long before Ultra processers are supported?

Since I'm not on the product team, I am not privy to information like that. Usually, "when" questions are not answered by the team anyway. Sorry about that.
