Rush not rendering entire video

When trying to export an 8 second video, the finished video only renders about 3-4 seconds and it just freezes. I had a similar issue with Premiere Pro last week.

The computer is a 2017 Mac, all updated with 64 GB of memory and a Radeon Pro 570 4g graphics card.
All adobe programs are also fully up to date. No storage issues and nothing else is running to slow it down.
