Hi, for some reason Adobe Rush has started to play back video too slow in the preview area, looks like about 80 percent or so. Also, no sound comes out, although the volume-meter lower right shows vivid green bars indicating sound should play. Any idea?

Hi there!

Sorry to hear that. What's the source of the media files? A variable frame rate could cause this issue. Could you try transcoding files using HandBrake and see if that brings any change?

Also, let us know the device you're using for Premiere Rush.

Thanks,

Kartika

Hey, thanks for the response. I have used Rush successfully for 2 years, and created many movies without these issues. This happens when opening old projects too, so it is not related to source files. I am using the desktop version on a PC 64 bit Windows 10 version 21H1. I also just updated Rush today with the same problem. I attach a small video recording I made with my mobile phone of what it looks like - you can see how slowly the seconds count upwards...

Update: While I have not solved the issue, at least I now know that it is related to my sound interface, and M-Audio M-Track 2x2 USB interface, because when I unplug it the sound is diverted to NVIDIA through my monitor speakers, and then the video plays back correctly and with sound. So I now know where the problem lies, but not sure how to fix it... I've tried to update my sound card drivers without any luck 😞
