RUSH - Project Retrieval

I was unable to move (unlocked) clips in my project and the forum recommendation was to reset preferences.  After I did that, all projects disappeared from the startup screen.  I can find them nowhere.  

How do I get to my projects locally on the desktop.  CC syncing has stopped working so I don't see them on the Cloud either, but that is not where I like to store things. 

An 'Assets' folder there has cryptic names and no images, so is not very useful to even know what is there if that is where they are.
