Rush won't allow me to export 4K video

Hi all,

If I select 4K, I'm being directed to buy Rush, but I already own it as part of the "Photography" plan.

How can I get Rush to acknlowledge my plan and allow me to export 4K video?

Thanks!

Hi @Franco2987420111o6,

Thanks for the message and welcome to the forum. The version of Rush provided to you in the Photography plan is the "starter" version. It is not the premium version. This situation is a common misconception for those carrying the photography plan. The entitlements for that plan are here. Sorry for the mix up. If you wish to gain 4K output, you can update your subscription plan. Let me know if you need help with that.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @Kevin-Monahan ,

Thanks for following up and your answer, much appreciated.

If anything, there's nowhere to see that the version I'm running is the "starter" one, not even on the link you provided, but it's fine.

If I wanted to update to the "premium" Rush version, which plan would entitle me to get it? Other than that, I only use Photoshop and Lightroom.

Thanks!

Additionally: when trying to "upgrade" from the warning signs, I'm directed to a page that offers a few options... but whatever I select I'm told that I already "own" Rush, without any mention to "starter" or "premium".

Hi,

As an FYI, I am in Adobe support and I am not on the product team. As a fellow Rush user, I try my best to help the editors here.

The linked webpage shows that Rush is not included in your entitlements; maybe it's not too helpful. Sorry. This page might be more helpful to show the different levels of a Rush subscription.

As far as your other issue, it sounds like a feature that Rush developers never included. I apologize if we did not make it expressly clear that everyone has access to the starter version of Rush, however, only certain subscriptions support the premium features.

If you are interested in updating your subscription, you can contact our support team here. Sorry for the hassle.

Thanks,
Kevin
