I need app whereby I can video myself and my customer talking, about the work I have done and then as we are talking on the video it cuts to the video of me doing the work, but still with us talking over the video and it still playing in the background. 

is there a editing software like this and if so can I get it on app on my iPhone

It's unlikely you'll find software that sophisticate for a phone. But it does appear you can do it on an iPad.
