Spacebar to play doesn't work

A very basic move – playing my whole video simply doesn't work when I try to press the spacebar on Mac.

When I click the play button, that works.

Actually, there are no keyboard shortcuts at all. In all the menus there is nothing. So even any other commands don't work (like "S" for split and so on…)

I've tried re-setting the settings by launching Adobe rush when holding Alt. Didn't help.
