Speed controls not working

Question

When I select a clip and increase its speed from 100% to 1000%, the clip length shortens in my workspace and all looks good.. However, when I go to play the clip a still image displays rather than my sped up clip. More confusingly the still image is from an earlier part of the clip that I have previously cropped out. Is anyone else experiencing this?

With regards to the still image, I wonder if there wasn't enough content for the app to select from so it appears to only have one frame left. 1000% faster is quite extreme. How much time was in the original clip and what did it reduce down to?

It might also be helpful to know what device or OS you are using Rush on in case the issue is specific to one app.

Playing part of a clip which is cropped out is definitely not what would be intended with the Speed feature though.
