Question

Speeding up image rendering in Premiere Rush for Mobile

I am currently working on a video project in Premiere Rush on my iPad Mini 4.  However, when I preview the project, the images render extremely slowly.  How do I speed up the rendering of the images in my project?  I love the app, but it's very annoying to wait for minutes on end for the images to move through the preview, especially when the video clips render at the correct speed.  Any help from anyone will be truly appreciated.

Hi @phaedrar15126751,

I read your message. It sounds like you are having performance issues with still images. Yes? If so, you may want to reduce the image size before importing into Rush. Extremely large images are unnecessary and cause slower performance in both playback and rendering. Make the images no longer than the size of the sequence, like HD or 4K. You can size them up 25% if you are using the Pan & Zoom effect, but no larger.

I hope the advice helps. If not, return with the details.

Thanks,
Kevin
