Suggestion: Blur parts of video in Premiere Rush

You'd think such a simple feature would be a no-brainer in an app like Rush, but no. You'd think maybe it's possible to add a graphics overlay to censor part of a video but no.... all the graphics have nothing to do with blocking out anything.

Could the team literally just add a graphic that pixelates whatever's underneath it? Or some graphic that doesn't have any of those stupid animations so that it could actually be used for, you know, hiding stuff?

I see there was this suggestion that was completely ignored despite having active engagement. https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/916423/suggestions/36225406.

Maybe it's about time to listen to what users want?

Ooooooh we could use this feature especially because we have to film videos in so many sizes, it would be nice to just blur it all our like a blurred background!  I don't always have computer acces to upload to premier pro or after effects.  This is a feature that would be well used and loved!

I agree. This should have been a no-brainer addition to this app. 2 years later and still nothing.

bellicoseandra0D4C,

Sorry. There isn't. You can do so in Premiere Pro or After Effects, though.

Thanks,
Kevin
