Question

Sync issue causes all media to disconnect

My wifi was interrupted while editing a rush project on my ipad, which caused a temporary sync issue. All media is local to the iPad, and I originated the project on his device, yet the sync issue disconnected every media clip. Now the media is trying to "download" all of the files, meanwhile all of the files are locally available on my camera roll. Manually reconnecting every cut would be an absurd waste of time. Is there a solution for this? Is there a way to automatically reconnect the files, like premiere pro?

Hi @sweverett,

I got your note. Sounds like you are having trouble with reconnecting media. It should connect automatically, so the experience you are facing is a bit unusual. I apologize if you have to reconnect the files one at a time. I'm afraid there is not "batch" way to reconnect that media. That would be a feature request. I will edit your post to make sure it is marked as a feature request. Hopefully, the community can offer other suggestions for you. Sorry again for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin

Excellent. Thank you for the timely response. Hope to see this in the future!

Update: After several hours all media files eventually reconnected. However, connectivity and sync issues are so common that a batch reconnect/relocate feature would be fantastic.
