Text graphic stops working when I press pause

I added graphic text to my video using Rush.  The text expands to read and then minimizes.  If I play the video and press the space bar to stop the video, the text graphic no longer works.  It won't expand.  I'm using a MAC, but has stopping the video stopped the programming of the graphic?  If so, how can I restart it?

    Hi @Cagu55,

    You may want to pre-render any graphics. Check out Premiere Rush > Settings. That may help.
