Text Option in Premiere Rush

Hi,

I don't see a "text" option as earlier in Premier Rush. It only has a graphics option which is a tedious task while adding captions to different clips.

Hello @Sahana11,

Welcome to Adobe forums! You say that you are missing the previous text feature for captioning tasks. Is that right? If so, you can always install the previous version.

Since you are an Adobe Employee, you can also install Premiere Pro which has a reach feature set around creating captions. You can also create your rough cut in Rush, then import the Rush project in Premiere Pro. That's been my workflow for some time.

I'm not sure why the team made that change around text creation. I'm in support, so I'm not privy to the decisions they make. Perhaps, it was to simplify the process for simple titling jobs. I agree with you, I also miss that previous feature.

I labeled your post as a feature request. I hope the team sees that request and can grant it to you. Thanks again for the message and sorry for the hassle.

Take Care,

Kevin
