Thick and Thin graphic flickering

Hello!

I noticed that at times when I use the Thick and Thin title graphics for my projects, the Thin part of the text flickers after being exported to a video (clip attached). Could you, please, provide any ideas on how to address this?

Thanks,

Ruslan

Sorry, Ruslan. I am certain you'll have to increase the size of that font. Let us know what happens once you do.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for the reply! Increasing the font size did work. I found that 75 was the minimum font size where the flickering stopped. It could be a little smaller, but I was just going in increments of five. Would be nice if the team could fix this little glitch so that the lettering doesn't flicker at any font size. Again, appreciate your quick reply and resolution. Thanks.

Hi Ruslan,

Thanks for the reply and for sharing your technique.

I'm afraid you'll have to compromise there, as fonts in various sizes must be available to all apps (like those that deal with print). The nature of (raster-based) video is that thin lines might not be able to be handled because of the nature of the medium. The array of pixels can't interpret very thin lines.

Try also repositioning the text slightly. That can work. Increasing font size and repositioning can help you find an optimal look for your composition without flickering.

Thanks,

Kevin
