Transitions in Premier Rush not appearing in video

I am putting a video together in Premier Rush and want to add transitions between each indiviual video. When I add the transitions in and watch it back, the transition is nowhere to be found. It is showing up in the editor bar below but is not actually visible in the video. How do I get the transitions to appear?
