Unable to add text to my videos

I have tried to use titles but those get added between two videos. How can I add simple texts in video without any special effects?

To add titles without effects, open the graphics panel and search for basic. There will be a set of basic titles (no effects, animation).

    Peter that was VERY VERY HELPFUL. I do not know why they make it so hard to create/find a basic graphic in this program or in the tutorials. Thank you!

    Sorry to hear that. Could you confirm if you're selecting graphics from Titles?

    Hello, I have the same issue. I would like to add text without any animations.

     

    When I select Titles, I can only see the pre-made ones. Thank you.
