Upload speed to YouTube??

I made 5 videos for YouTube on my iPhone 10s with VideoLeap.  Getting the footage onto the phone from a GoPro or Canon M50 takes forever wirelessly.  So I got a MacBook Pro and adobe Rush.  Obviously getting the footage onto the Mac and into Rush is almost instant. But now I'm bogged down with the Mac and that my phone is WAY faster at getting the footage onto YouTube!!  Going from Rush to YouTube took forever!! and now YouTube has it but it's 0% uploaded.  So it's basically uploading twice??  Once from Rush to YouTube then again from YouTube to the public?  It's been locked at 0% for 20 minutes and. not moving.  I don't get it.  It already uploaded to YouTube from Rush.
