Question

Video Capture in Mac OS -- is this setting invisible?

I have two usb cameras and an internal camera to work with and I can't find any way in Premier Rush to capture video from any of them. The machine is recognizing all the hardware from my external webcam and dslr camera connected via USB, so I'm fairly confident this is not a hardware problem. Mobile seems to have easy video capture but not the desktop version. I mostly film at my desk so I'd like to take my phone out of the mix for the videos I am making. How can I do this? I'm on an M1 Macbook Air.

Hi @alys_s.

I read your note. It sounds like you want to connect cameras to Rush and shoot with those. That is not a feature included in Rush. You can shoot and capture the video in those devices and then import the results into Rush. That is the most common way to get footage from other devices into Rush. Let the community know if you need help with that.

Thanks,

Kevin

Thanks Kevin. I just assumed it was possible based on how easy it is to do
on the mobile version. Definitely makes the process much more complicated
on desktop. I think camera capture would be a good feature to add at least
in a basic way. Please consider it.
