Videos recorded on iPhone 12 Pro won’t upload

I just got the bee iPhone 12 Pro and now when I try to import videos from my camera roll to a project in Premier Rush (mobile) I get an "unsupported media type" error message. I tried uploading videos I took prior to getting the new phone and they upload just fine. I am using the latest version of IOS and there are no updates needed for Premier Rush either.

Hi all!

There is a new version of Rush today that includes a number of great features including the ability to import your files from the iPhone 12.

Enjoy!

Ok, I am new to PR and getting frustrated with the same issue of uploading video and photos from my iphone 14Pro.  I see this string with 2020 and seems the same compatibility problem exists with iphone.  I don't understand, someone please help.

Cheers?

Unfortunately we still have the lack of HDR support on Premiere Rush even after almost a year of this problem being raised. This is terribly embarrassing, I expected Apple's format of HDR to be adopted early on, unless Adobe have company politics at play.

I just downloaded the app today and I'm still getting this error message with photos that I have downloaded from dropbox or SmugMug to my phone. Any advice?

Sorry if I missed this answer elsewhere, but I'm running into the same problem with Premiere Elements. I can't use videos shot on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Is there a solution for this? Thx.

That's not a solution, it's a band aid at best. Do better.

None of you have to use that Adobe Program to view or edit whatever video you take with your iP 12. Certainly Apple has some type of software for that purpose. Use that.

Don't bother using Adobe Products.  Got it. Hear you loud and clear.

This problem is NOT solved.  A workaround denying the use premium video, is NOT a solution.  Really really sad to see especially after Adobe put so much behind promoting Premiere Rush at Adobe MAX.  Shameful.

Thank for helping with a "work around", but this is not a solution - it literally disables the main feature for purchasing an iPhone 12 pro.  We pay good money for the Adobe app to work as it should. Apple's new HDR format has been out for a month to the public, and I cannot imagine that Adobe didn't get it before (or at least when) the public did.

Please actually resolve the issue or refund us the money for this app.
