Question

Where are my Premier Rush assets stored?

I'm just trying to find where my Rush assets are stored. I see there's a preference for where to import assets to, but the indicated folder is empty. I have a project where I seem to have lost the original, but it does show up under "project assets" within the app and I can watch the whole video, so I know it exists somewhere, and I'd like to find it so that I can copy it to a backup location, but I don't see any way to locate the file or "show in finder" or even any way to export that asset to my drive. I imagine that Adobe wants to discourage people from messing with the location of files that are being referenced in the app, but I have 2 issues: 1) I need to replace the original that had been deleted (I hope to just copy that asset), and 2) If assets are stored in my Creative Cloud, then this one is taking up an enormous amount of space, and I'd like to get it off of there. I've read that Rush stores things locally nowadays, and that would be great. But I don't find any evidence of it anywhere! (other than it appearing in the project, in its entirety)

Hi,

Are you just seeing a red frame where the clip once was? You can reconnect it with the original (right click and nav to the original file). Rush just links to the original clips these days, the ones on your camera roll. A year ago, there was were proxies available on Creative Cloud. No longer.

Cheers,
Kevin
