Will Premiere Rush accept video from a VCR via my capture hardware

Please excure me if this topic has been previously discussed.  I have video hardware to capture from a VCR which I currently import into Virtual Dub.  I would like to use Premiere Rush to process the captured video.  I havent been able to find any information on this issue.
