2D image png does not rotate or spin from center.

Even when I change the properties, nothing changes and it still rotates on its edge. My hope is to make a flower iamge spin from its center. Any suggestions appreciated. I saw the 'get around' with copying and making a group, but that is so complicated and actually didn't fix this issue.
