Aero Beta Desktop 23.4(#125) does not have geolocation option

On the Aero website I clicked on try Aero Beta and Aero Beta was added to my creative cloud subscription.  I installed 0.23.4 build 125 and it does not start with the Earth and does not have a geolocation option.  

Is there a difference between Aero Beta and Aero geospatial Beta?

What am I doing wrong?

Is there a link to signup for Aero geospatial beta?

Aero Geospatial Pre-release is a different build of Aero than what's avaialable from Creative Cloud.

Sign up for the Pre-release here. We're adding new pre-release user all the time.

      Geospatial capabilities are only available in the pre-release verion of Aero that you download with the ink that was emailed to you when you were approved to join the pre-release. You should only have this version of Aero installed on your machine. The most recent version of the Aero geospatial pre-release is 0.24.1(268).

      Hi Cory,

       

      I checked my email and the last version i received is from July 13th. 

      How do I get version 0.24.1? Also are you publishing changelogs somewhere?

        Hi,

        I'm having the same issue, the geolocation anchor used to be there and then it was gone. It used to work like a charm.

        Would be nice to get some info indeed.

        Okay, found the solution, get rid of the other versions of Aero, downloaded through CC or otherwise and download the one that's emailed to you; version 0.23.4(127)

          Hi Anne,

          I am having the same issues and tried to reach out to the support team via the private beta program but the mailbox to the program admins is broken. When did you get the link to 0.23.4(127)? 

           

          I received a mail on Juli 14th but it only included the link to the general CC prerelease downloads - in which the geospatial part is missing.

           

          Glad I am not alone with this question 🙂
