AR portal occlusion effect in Adobe Aero

Just starting out in Adobe Aero and would like to know how to achieve an AR door portal effect like in this example on Behance https://www.behance.net/gallery/111660999/McDelivery-Bring-Halloween-Home?tracking_source=search_projects%7Cportal 

 

I want to have the occlusion effect on world behind the door threshold. I tried searching through the forum and documentation and can't seem to find any information.

I would also be curious if there are any updates on this. 

These kind of portal effects would be very cool. Maybe there is a workaround, if not supported directly?

While portals are not currently supported in Aero, this is something the team is looking into. So stay tuned for more updates to come!

Are there any updates on this? I would also like to be able to Aero to make portals or "holes" in walls and floors etc.

Is there specific occlusion material i need to use?
