Customer Communication: Aero updates

So there's a number of feature's we Areo users have long awaited (e.g., experience of Aero in browser - like Vectary - without the need for end users to have the app installed) but with each recent update to Aero all that is stated is: See what's new at . . . and then a long URL that is not clickable, or even selectable. It must be typed (not fun).

But if one does take the time to type in the URL, it leads to: https://helpx.adobe.com/aero/using/whats-new/Aero_Release_Notes.html which stated the latest release as being in May. It is now October - and something was just updated today (and there's certainly been others since May)- but what is updated, we rarely get to know. A feature? A bug fix?

Essentially, help us . . . to help you. Make these update links work in the CC app and explicitly tell us when there's a bug fix, a new feature, etc. so we can play with it and offer feedback.

Does this mean that Aero scenes will become web-based and no longer need the app? I sure hope so! I want to submit a public art project to my city using AR built with Aero. But if it does not become web-based I will need to propose another solution. Needing an app to experience the AR will keep Aero from being widely adopted - just the way it took so many years for QR codes to be adopted. They had to become easier to use - without an extra app. If Aero scenes cannot be web-based, they should be exportable so they can be uploaded to software that will create a web-based experience....like Sketchfab.

I love Adobe products and hope these requests are resonating with decision-makers. Thank you! Laura Shank

Hi @LauraShank , ease of sharing without an app download is a top priority on our feature list, and we are looking forward to sharing more on this front as a feature in Aero very, very soon. Thank you.

Hi @Kevin McMahon . Thanks for pointing this out. We did switch our release notes link to HelpX at the beginning of the summer. And the last release was a maintenance one that contained bug fixes. It's good to know people are reading the release notes, and I will commit to getting a more articulated list for releases and getting the link fixed. Please do look for a feature release related to your first point coming very soon. Thanks!

Also, I'd like to invite you to join our prerelease program, https://adobeprerelease.com
(choose Aero from available programs). You can test new features before they are released to the public and give direct feedback to the product and development teams.
