Dynamic QR Code loading "connector" URL before going straight to Aero content.

I am using a QR Code platform to track scans for marketing purposes and am running in to trouble when using Dynamic QR Codes, which give me the alalytics.  A connector URL is used and prompts my to open in safari or the Aero App Clip.  Problem is, everyone isnt getting this option.  A Static QR code loads the experience seamlessly, I just cannot track scans.  

Anyone ever run in to this issue or have work around?
