Question

Reducing File Size After Deleting Assets

Hey Adobe Aero Team,

Is there a way to reduce the file size of an aero project? There are times when I want to swap a image anchor or I delete assets from my project, but the file size actually grows instead of shrinking. Does this have to do with the assets being stored in previous projects? I tried deleteing past project in the "Manage Projects" section, but I haven't seen much luck there either. The only way I've been able to reduce the size is by making a whole new project and making sure I don't do many edits.

Thanks for your help!

I believe I have the same problem. I just noticed that my scene size is 220MB and has one 20MB asset. Size increases if I delete model and upload a different one.

Hi @bradenkobeski this should not happen and Aero should clear the memory when you delete and asset. Can you  PM me a sample .real file(s) and I'll pass it along to the dev team to examine?

The same problem for me.. I delete all the assets and it maintain the file size.. it's there away to update the size project with what I'm using? So I don't need to delete everything and start again from the beginning?

thanks
