Hi @markhellar , I made a test with friends using iPhone 13 Pro Max and Samsung S20 Plus, where I sent them a link to an AR experience created with Aero. Despite my understanding from reading the documentation that users wouldn't need to download anything, every device was required to download Adobe Aero before being able to experience the AR. Am I missing something or has there been a change in Adobe's process?
Thanks

Hello Mark,

Thank you for your help! I have a problem, I created four scenes and everytime I scan the QR code with my phone to test it, components are missing but it's random, sometimes it's in the 40 MB scene, sometimes it's in the 100 MB scene, sometimes it's the PNG sequence that's missing, sometimes it's the thumbnail, sometimes it's everything and i don't get it 😕😕 I tried refreshing the qr code and changing out big files. The biggest problem is the one scene that's completely gone in the App clip view. On my iPad on the Aero App everything is fine. Help me pleeease, today the project goes live 🙂 Thank you!

Hello, I am expert at rockpaperreality.com

Certainly, it's great to hear about your interest in using Adobe Aero for an in-person activation event in LA! Adobe Aero allows you to create immersive AR experiences, and anchoring assets to specific locations within a venue is indeed possible.

To achieve this, you can use Aero's spatial tracking and anchoring capabilities. Here's a brief overview of how you can accomplish this:

  1. Create Your AR Assets: First, you'll need to create the AR assets you want to anchor in your venue. These could be 3D models, images, animations, or videos that you want app users to interact with when they're in specific locations.

  2. Use Spatial Anchors: Adobe Aero supports spatial anchors, which allow you to fix AR content to specific points or areas in the physical world. You can place spatial anchors at the desired locations within your venue using the Aero app.

  3. Design Your Experience: In the Adobe Aero app, you can design your AR experience by importing your assets and positioning them relative to the spatial anchors you've placed. This ensures that when users view the venue through the app, they'll see the anchored assets in the correct locations.

  4. Testing and Refinement: It's crucial to thoroughly test your AR experience within the venue to ensure that the assets are anchored correctly and that the interactions work as intended. You can use the app's preview mode to simulate how users will experience your activation.

  5. User Accessibility: Ensure that users attending your event are aware of the Adobe Aero app and how to access your AR experience. Providing clear instructions and access points to download the app can enhance user engagement.

By following these steps, you can anchor assets to specific areas in your venue, creating a universally accessible AR experience for your event attendees. Adobe Aero's user-friendly interface and spatial tracking features should make the process relatively straightforward.

Remember to plan your content and interactions thoughtfully to maximize the impact of your AR activation at the event. If you encounter any specific technical challenges or have more detailed questions about using Adobe Aero for your project, feel free to reach out for further assistance. Good luck with your event in LA!

Hi, it's me again 😉
Aero doesn't available for my Samsung A40, is it normal? More compatibility could better for the success of Aero (I beleive in it :)). This phone is widely used in the world (old but used ;))
Thanks

Hi, it's not a lot... Do Abobe think change that? Samsung A series aren't in this list. A little compatibility list it's a "brake" for your development. Could Aero Player be dev for the simple smartphone like A series?
Thanks for your answers

Hey mark! I must say I got pretty impressed playing around with aero on my new 14. Migrated from Android ; ) One thing that would be really nice to have as an tool is the ability to map a photo on some simple shapes. I'm using allot of panoramas now days and I'm missing the ability to be able to bend the plane on a z axis's. Also if there was a way to be able to mess around with some simple depth maps. A black and white bump map would be super. You guys should have a chat with vade.  Ar relight using the LiDAR Ar relight

Hi @303nrlnd909 great suggestion. You can do this today via Blender or most 3d packages. ButI will pass this along to the team as well.

Hi, thanks for letting us bring our feedback!

I was about to use Aero, because it seemed pretty simple and practical of use : great interface, tools, templates...
But what prevents me from using it is the visualization of the creations. It can only be done by downloading the app on the App Store. That excludes a wide segment of people (I've tried to download the Aero player for my android device but apparently it doesn't exist on the European Play Store). If I create something and people can't watch it - or it's too complicated to watch it - it's just no use.

Thank you, I hope it helps, and I can't wait for Aero to meet my expectations!

Hi @alexandrel93461093 We have a new feature App Clip sharing which does not require an app download on iOS, see here: https://helpx.adobe.com/aero/using/view-aero-experiences-faq.html please try it out and let us know what you think. Sharing on all devices without an app download is our goal, and this is a step on that roadmap.  Thanks

Please create a Discord for Aero, like the Discord product servers for Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Video & Cloud Express
Why?
1. It's so much nicer to have others working on the same software as you while on voice together when working remotely.
2. Alot of the industry professionals are already in Discord so it's easier for us to communicate with one another
3. It's fun

Hi! Were you able to work with the AR model that I sent to you the other week? Were you able to add a reset feature, or can you tell me how to add a reset feature?

Hi! I know that you probably have been swamped with all sorts of Adobe Aero stuff over the last few weeks. Nevertheless, have you been able to make any progress with the VHS shelf AR model I sent to you? Can a reset feature be added to it?

Hey @markhellar ,

I have a question for you about the app that I have been having difficulty getting an answer to.

I love the idea of using this at an in person activtion that my business is throwing in a few months in LA. Is there a way to attach or anchor assets to certain areas in the venue to be viewd universally by the app users? Looking forward to your response.

Hi Ambrose, thanks for the post. If you want an asset to be attached to a specific area, right now an image anchor would be the best choice: https://helpx.adobe.com/aero/using/set-an-image-anchor.html
