1. Click the Fill & Sign button in the right-hand pane. If you don't see it, go to the Tools menu and select Fill & Sign.

2. In the Fill & Sign toolbar, click Sign and then select Add Signature.
3. You'll be given three options. Type, Draw and Image. Type your name, and Acrobat will generate a signature in a cursive font. You can choose from a few different styles. My least favorite, use your mouse, touchpad, or a touchscreen device to draw your signature. This is ideal for those who want a signature that looks more like their own handwriting. My prefered way, upload a scanned image of your handwritten signature. For the best results, sign your name on a clean white piece of paper with black ink and then take a picture or scan it.
4. Once you've created your signature, click Apply. The signature will appear on your cursor.
5. Move your mouse to the desired location on the document and click to place it.
6. You can then resize and reposition it as needed.
7. After placing your signature, go to the File menu and select Save or Save As to save the document with the new signature embedded.
