25 Page OCR Scan Limit? Editing OCR Text?

1) Does Adobe plans on upping the limit on OCR scanning. Glad I only did 1 section (28 pages) and not the entire 1,000 page manual. Still made me delete 3 pages but at least I got the warning telling me it doesn't work over 25 when I hit "Save PDF" early on. Also seems like 8.9MB is a bit high for such a short amount of text.

2) Is there a way to edit recognized text, some words are wrong and others negated completely. Could I manually input words on there and/or correct other words to their correct spelling? Also searching: THE/The/the yields different results, you'd think they would be recognized as the same word.

    I suspect (although will try to prove since I have to scan a 75-page document!) that the 25-page limitation applies to the amount of largess Adobe will grant free app users. My intention is to bring my document into Acrobat DC and have the text recognition performed there, which never has a limit on page recognition. Will chime in when I'm finished my project!

    <<UPDATE>> Yes, the workaround is to do the OCR in Acrobat (Enhance Scans|Recognize Text), and I suspect it's a combination of wanting to encourage the user to be an Acrobat user and perhaps limited resources within the mobile app. It worked fine once I brought it into Acrobat.

    I cannot answer your question. I am having difficulty getting to the editable text, after capturing a document. Can you assist with guiding me through the process?
