32-64

I have Adobe InDesign 8.0 plus Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0

if my memory server me well. At 77 years old I am very

happy with both and my learning curb is dwelling.

I have been using Adobe since Page Maker for any

old folks out there.

Will Adobe hav a patch for the new 32-64 ?

Now living on a fixed income don’t want to spend

any money for new products.  I really don’t use both of these

very much  but from time to time like to look at some old files.

Any info would be thankful.

Thanks , James

Both the InDesign and Acrobat versions you describe have not been supported in many years and you will not see any updates whatsoever for them.

If you are running on Windows, a 64-bit version is not required at this point.

If you are running on MacOS and if you were planning to update your computer to MacOS 10.15, you will not be able to run any software that is not fully 64-bit (including the installer for same).

The solution for you assuming you are satisfied with the functionality, performance, and security of your current software is to not upgrade your operating system or replace your computer (which implies a new OS version).

I'm guessing, you're asking about the Mac upgrade to Catalina, and all old 32 bits stop working? No, there will be no patch for your old system. You will need a budget for ALL NEW APPS if you get this new Catalina system. Not only no patches, but you left it many years too late for a reduced price replacement.

But if you like old software why would you go to Catalina?
