3D PDF Preferences

Is it possible to create a button or shortcut that will update preferences for a 3D PDF?

 

Users have to be trained and reminded continuiously of what the correct preferences are to properly view the content of a 3D PDF.  The preferences are reset everytime the software is updated further complicating the issue.

 

I understand Javascript can be used to automate the preference updates upon opening the software but If it were possible to create a shortcut to update the preferences by the user it would greatly improve the usefulness and adoption of 3D PDF.

    Some viewing preferences can be set within the 3D object. Can you be more specific as to which preferences you want to be persistent?

    Check - Enable playing of Multimedia and 3D content

     

    Security (Enhanced)

    Uncheck – Enable Protected Mode at startup (Preview)

    Check - Enable Acrobat JavaScript
