We have been using DenuPDF to inject a HTML link into a PDF for literally a decade.

All of a sudden we are getting a

https://app.avidxchange.net/AvidSuite/errors/404.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/AvidSuite/File/InvoiceAttachment/38c53718-0a08-4af4-a2ef-4456f00581a7

I also did this to https://www.cnn.com/ and the results were NOT good.

It is found that Adobe is adding Test to the HTML and messing up the web site which is spiting out a .NET Error 404 page not found

I updated to the latest version of Abode

I attached the files, could you please tell me what is wrong

@Edward K Marois I read somewhere that Acrobat was improving the auto tagging and accessibilities features… and I guess that’s what they doing on your PDFs. Wow, DenuPDF for 10 years?! As you said, “Adobe is adding Test to the HTML” as Acrobat is misinterpreting the DenuPDF injection as an untagged element.

Try turning off 'Create Links from URLs' in Preferences

and disabling Auto-Tagging usually stops Acrobat from touching the injected code. I have mine off (unless I need to create a PDF for a client, then accessibility is on)
