Correct answer Dov Isaacs

On MacOS, Acrobat DC is a 64-bit application.

On Windows, Acrobat DC is currently only a 32-bit application that runs without any issues on 64-bit versions of Windows (beginning with Windows 7).

Note that the 32-bit versus 64-bit issue is not one of performance, but rather of address space and OS compatibility.

Wrong - it no longer runs without any problems on a 64-bit windows.  Every time I try to open it, I get a watch coming up, and can not even read the document I have opened.  And has anyone else noticed that there is no longer an Adobe Reader option?

Agree. Same issues here, program stalls and not responding. Often restart of program neccesary
