A Word.docx will not convert to a .pdf. It shows as a .log. I have attached a copy on this request.

This is the only Word document it happens to. I copied and pasted the content and renamed the document. I go the same results.

Can anyone help on why this is happeming?

Thanks,

Tony

This is what the .Log file looks like:

%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%
%%[Page: 1]%%
%%[Page: 2]%%
%%[Page: 3]%%
%%[Page: 4]%%
%%[Page: 5]%%
Roboto-Regular not found, using Courier.
Roboto-Bold not found, using Courier.
%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: xshow ]%%

Stack:
[153 95 97 95 35 0]
()

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

You may need to enable the Accessibility checker in MS Word first.

The Accessibilitt Checker will detect and notify you what needs attention.

You may also need to verify if such fonts have any type of copyright restriction or if the text encoding need to be changed.

See here:

Can you confirm if the other MS Word documents that throw no error use exactly the same type of fonts like the problematic document?

It may be helpful if can provide specifics about the conversion method.

Which one are you using:

  • Save as PDF directly from MS Word?

  • Using the PDF Maker Add-in directly from MS Word?

  • Printing to PDF?
